The seminars aim is to reach a systematic, consequent, and methodically complete preparation for the career of ballet teacher by following the professional training Programs of the Moscow State Academy of Choreography. This course is taught by Tatyana Ryzhova, the leading methodologist of the Academy.

Program Description
Establishing the professional foundation for teaching method of Classical Ballet for beginner classes at Bolshoi Ballet Academy.
Development of motor skills, spatial awareness, coordination and musicality.
Examination of the positions of the legs, arms and back for the beginner training. Covering the development of the exercise at the barre, center and petit allegro in Vaganova technique for the 1st grade
Live demonstration by Academy Students.
The Main Goal
Learning the positioning of the body, legs, arms and head. Introducing the notion of working with 8 spatial points in the dance studio. Learning movements of the exercise at the barre and at the center, jumps.Mastering the basic skills of coordination, musicality and expression of the performance of port de bras and other movements. Working on the development of the professional abilities of the students.

Program Description

The Main Goal
Learning demi-pointe movements at the barre, working on turns and demi-turns. Mastering demi-turns and turns on one leg. Introduction to pirouettes. Movements starting and ending in poses. Adding more complex combinations for developing coordination skills. Studying a method of landing on one foot during jump combinations. Developing musicality and expression of performance.

The program is presented by Tatiana Ryzhova
Master Teacher Tatiana Ryzhova
Since 2009, Tatiana Ryzhova has been a member of the faculty at the Moscow State Academy of Choreography aka Bolshoi Ballet Academy. She teaches classical dance in junior and middle grades, the basics of teaching choreographic disciplines, the methodology of teaching classical dance.
As a teacher of the Academy, she conducted master classes in Italy (Turin, 2013), Japan (Osaka, 2014), was a member of the jury of the ballet competition in Japan (Tokyo, 2014). In 2014-2021, she worked on the RAF BBASI summer program in the USA (Connecticut). She taught courses on classical dance methodology in junior and middle classes for foreign teachers (New York, 2016-2021).
Tatiana is published author of a number of articles on the history of choreographic art, published in the scientific journals of the RSCI and the Higher Attestation Commission.
