  • The seminar’s aim is to reach a systematic, consequent, and methodically complete preparation for the career of ballet teacher by following the professional training Programs of the Bolshoi Ballet Academy of Moscow. This course is taught by Lyudmila Yermakova, the leading teacher of Bolshoi Ballet Academy.

Program Description

Year 6 training (the first level of the Advanced classes) program focuses on the development of tours in grand poses from various positions. Teachers ensure the intensive work on the combined rotations on demi-pointe and pointe on the spot and travelling (starting to include two tours in grand poses or pirouettes).
Year 6 training includes the extended adagio sequences with the use of body tilts, grand fouetté, en tournant, various types of rotations. The battery jumps technique becomes more complicated. Students work on big jumps from different positions and movements. In this level of training the teachers continue to identify and develop individual abilities of their students and develop musicality and expressiveness in their technique.

1 Week Intensive Training Program

The participants of the certified tier of the program will be offered an exam and an assignment that will be checked by the Academy teachers.
If the exam is passed successfully, you will receive a certificate of completion signed by the Dean of the Bolshoi Academy, stating your attendance and the result of the exam. The certificate comes in the form of a digital file and will be sent to your email address.

Master Teacher Lyudmila Yermakova

Lyudmila Ermakova was born in Moscow. In 1985, she was accepted into Bolshoi Ballet Academy, graduating in a class of G. K. Kuznetsova.

Upon graduation, Lyudmila was invited to join The Bolshoi Theatre. She had quickly rose to become a soloist. Her  career spans over two decades. She performed in Don Quixote, The Nutcracker,  La Bayadere,  Le Corsair, Les Sylphides, Raimonda, Golden Age, Ivan the Terrible and many others.

She toured all over the world with Bolshoi ballet.

While performing Lyudmila received a degree in pedagogy from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy. Her master teacher was the famous Sofia Golovkina.

In 2016, Lyudmila became a master teacher at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy. She teaches ballet technique and character dance.
